Performance Mechanical Group turns 30 this year!
 I am very pleased and proud to let friends and customers of Performance Mechanical Group know that this year Performance Mechanical Group enters its 30th year of operation. Coming off the heels of 50% growth from 2013 to 2014 we can confidently say our continued success cements us as one of the top locally-owned commercial HVAC companies in the Greater Puget Sound area.
Where we came from
What started off as both a residential and commercial HVAC company, founded by Richard Gowin in 1985, Performance Mechanical Group saw incredible growth over the years placing it amongst the best in the industry. After Mr. Gowin’s passing, the Gowin family ultimately decided to hand over the company to Danny Miller and a private equity firm to continue providing exceptional service to its customer base. The residential program was spun off into its own business and is completely removed from our current service program. In 2008 I was brought in to lead the company as my brother, Danny Miller, began to transition his talents and vision into creating Transformative Wave and its products the CATALYST and eIQ Platform.
Where we are at today
As I mentioned before in 2014 we had 50% growth in our business. We were able to accomplish this without any additional overhead and positioning ourselves as a top pick for service and mechanical projects. We also saw a significant entry into the Telecom vertical. Helping customers achieve energy efficiency with CATALYST has also helped us grow our service customer base as many of these CATALYST equipped customers are now under service contract with Performance Mechanical Group.
What’s ahead
With our newly deployed Telecom division we’ve done work as far east as Spokane and are now exploring opportunities into Alaska and Oregon - teeing up expansion of our geographical reach. Our future success continues to lay in the hands of our customers, partners and most importantly our dedicated staff and field personnel. I am very proud of all that has been accomplished by our team and look forward to our continued success. Please help me congratulate Performance Mechanical Group on its 30th year!
